Ms. Megha Kapoor holds a B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) degree from Amity University, Noida, and an LL.M. from University College London, United Kingdom. Prior to her association with the firm, she was associated with J. Sagar Associates, where she gained valuable experience in handling complex corporate and commercial disputes. Her academic background, coupled with her professional experience, has enabled her to develop a strong foundation in corporate law, dispute resolution, and commercial litigation.
At the firm, Ms. Kapoor primarily focuses on corporate and commercial litigation, as well as dispute resolution. She regularly advises and represents clients in matters involving corporate disputes, contractual claims, shareholder disputes, and litigation arising out of commercial transactions. She also possesses significant experience in drafting and reviewing contracts relating to land and property transactions, and has handled disputes arising from shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, and other corporate arrangements before courts and arbitral tribunals.
Ms. Kapoor has considerable expertise in arbitration, particularly in disputes relating to infrastructure, construction, engineering, and oil & gas sectors. She has represented clients in several high-value arbitrations involving road projects, construction contracts, and engineering disputes, including matters for some of India’s leading infrastructure companies. In addition to her litigation and arbitration practice, Ms. Kapoor is also an author and legal researcher. She has authored the book “Indian Patent Law: Drafting Procedures”, which focuses on the drafting and registration process of patent applications in India, and she continues to contribute to legal scholarship through her writing and research in various fields of law.
