Mr. Rahul Gupta

About me

Mr. Rahul Gupta has been practicing law before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India since 1989. He is an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) and Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. With more than three decades of experience in litigation and legal advisory, Mr. Gupta has represented clients across multiple jurisdictions as both a litigator and legal counsel, appearing in a wide range of complex civil, commercial, and constitutional matters.

Mr. Gupta’s primary area of expertise lies in laws relating to succession and inheritance. He regularly advises and represents clients in matters involving claims of inheritance, succession rights under the Hindu Succession Act, 1956 (as amended in 2005), probate of Wills, intestate succession, and disputes relating to immovable properties, including matters involving public authorities. Over the years, he has developed significant experience in handling intricate family property disputes and succession claims, contributing to the field of personal law through his strategic litigation approach and in-depth understanding of statutory interpretation.

In addition to succession and property matters, Mr. Gupta also handles commercial and regulatory litigation and advisory work, including matters under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, Commercial Courts Act, 2015, Consumer Protection Act, 1986, Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, Delhi School Education Act, 1973, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and constitutional law. He also regularly represents educational institutions, schools, and other organizations in service and regulatory matters, advising them on employment disputes, disciplinary proceedings, and compliance issues. Further, Mr. Gupta actively represents clients in arbitration and mediation proceedings, assisting in effective dispute resolution outside the traditional court process while safeguarding the interests of his clients.
