Dr. V.K. Jain

Dr. V. K. Jain is a distinguished legal professional and a seasoned expert in real estate, property, and government-related legal matters. He holds an Honours degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, an LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, and an LL.M. from Kurukshetra University. He was also selected for the Uttar Pradesh Judicial Services in 1984, but chose to join the Civil Services instead.

A retired IAS officer from the AGMUT cadre, Dr. Jain brings with him decades of rich administrative and legal experience. After an accomplished career in public service, he joined the legal profession and now serves as Partner at ALX India Law Firm. His deep understanding of governmental functioning, statutory authorities, and regulatory frameworks makes him particularly well-equipped to advise on complex matters involving public bodies and urban development agencies.

During his tenure in government, Dr. Jain served in important capacities including Revenue Assistant and Sub-Divisional Magistrate, where he dealt extensively with land, revenue, and quasi-judicial matters. He also worked with key public authorities such as the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB), gaining vast practical experience in land use, urban development, housing, and public property administration. His background gives him a rare combination of legal insight and administrative understanding in real estate and property-related disputes.

In addition to his advisory and legal practice, Dr. Jain is also associated with academia and contributes to legal education by delivering lectures at IP University. His blend of practical governance experience, legal acumen, and teaching engagement makes him a valuable advisor in matters relating to property law, real estate regulation, land administration, and disputes involving government departments and statutory authorities.
