Arav Kapoor

Mr. Arav Kapoor is the Founder of Eminent Law Chambers and a litigation lawyer with significant experience in consumer, electricity, and regulatory matters. He graduated with a B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) degree from Amity Law School, affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2012. Early in his career, he worked as an Associate with Ashok Bhasin, and subsequently served as a Legal Associate under the guidance of Krishnendu Datta between 2013 and 2017. During this period, he developed strong litigation skills while assisting in and independently handling complex legal disputes.

As a litigation practitioner, Mr. Kapoor has extensive experience in appearing before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums, including the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, District Courts in Delhi, and Consumer Fora. He regularly represents clients before tribunals and regulatory bodies such as the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Delhi State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission, National Green Tribunal, Debt Recovery Tribunal, Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, National Company Law Tribunal, and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, in addition to appearances before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.Mr. Kapoor specializes in civil and commercial litigation, with a key focus on disputes relating to consumer protection, electricity laws, property matters, labor disputes, and regulatory litigation. He has handled matters under various statutes including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, Specific Relief Act, 1963, Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958, and Electricity Act, 2003, along with regulatory frameworks such as the DERC Supply Code. He also has experience in matters involving personal laws, including those under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, Hindu Succession Act, 1956, and the Indian Succession Act, 1925, enabling him to represent clients across a diverse spectrum of legal disputes.
